I didn't specifically say the pulley caused the damage :) I can't prove it was the pulley. Nobody can. I think the rod bearing was a little defective for some reason(something else I'll never be able to figure out a reason for) and the pulley just accelerated its failure. I was just stating that shortly after the pulley was put on the engine failed. I'm switching back to the stock pulley after I rebuild my engine.
